About Brandon Niles Cox<\/h1>

\u00a9 <\/strong>Nothing Declared Photography<\/strong> was founded by Brandon Niles Cox<\/strong>, an avid traveler, photographer, and storyteller with a lifelong mission to inspire others to explore the world\u2019s most remote and overlooked destinations. His work brings together a unique blend of adventure travel<\/strong>, international conflict research<\/strong>, documentary photography<\/strong>, and the wine experiences<\/strong> discovered along the way.<\/p>

This site showcases photography from rarely visited corners of the world<\/strong>\u2014places that challenge familiar narratives and reveal perspectives far beyond the typical travel lens. Brandon\u2019s images highlight the extraordinary accessibility of our planet while inviting viewers to reconsider what they think they know.<\/p>

An accomplished traveler and author, Brandon has lived on three continents<\/strong> and explored 190+ countries<\/strong>, reaching all seven continents over a 25\u2011year career as an independent conflict researcher<\/strong>, professional sommelier<\/strong>, and photographer<\/strong>. His work has taken him through multiple\u00a0active war zones<\/strong> and regions under various government travel warnings. He has produced and directed documentaries in Ukraine<\/strong> and conducted field research across the Democratic Republic of Congo<\/strong>, Iran, Syria,<\/strong> and Somalia<\/strong>, and throughout a nine\u2011month overland journey from South Africa to Jordan and back<\/strong>.<\/p>

Originally from the United States, Brandon studied \u00a0at Georgia Tech<\/strong>, later continuing his education at Oxford University<\/strong> and in Australia, France, New Zealand, and Japan<\/strong>. He has built a parallel career as a global leader in the aviation industry, specializing in joint ventures and alliances<\/strong>, revenue management<\/strong>, pricing<\/strong>, and network optimization<\/strong>. His professional path has included time with The Coca-Cola Company<\/strong> and leadership roles across multiple international markets.<\/p>

Today, Brandon lives in Amsterdam, Netherlands<\/strong> with his wife, Emily, after several years in London. His passion for adventure travel and conflict work began during an impromptu 2003 journey from Japan to South Korea\u2014an experience that set the trajectory for decades of global exploration and documentation.<\/p>
